With Kupp out, the Seahawks will be missing three of their top five receivers, as they already ruled out Jake Bobo (Achilles) and Dareke Young (quad) on Friday.
Wide receiver Cody White and rookie wideout Ricky White III are both active after being elevated from the practice squad. They join NFL receiving leader Jaxon Smith-Njigba and rookie Tory Horton as Seattle’s four active wideouts on Sunday night.
Kupp is the Seahawks’ second-leading receiver, with 24 catches for 293 yards and a touchdown. The ninth-year veteran initially appeared on Wednesday’s practice report with a heel injury, but then also injured his hamstring in practice this week, Seattle head coach Mike Macdonald said. He was a full participant on Wednesday, but was limited Thursday and sat out Friday.
The Seahawks’ other inactives are rookie third-string quarterback Jalen Milroe, cornerback Derion Kendrick, rookie offensive lineman Mason Richman and rookie edge rusher Jared Ivey.
Milroe is inactive for the third straight game after being active for four of the first five. He will serve as the emergency third quarterback.
