The Washington Commanders hosted the Seattle Seahawks in Week 9's edition of "Sunday Night Football." It was a game that Seattle dominated, with the Seahawks taking a 31-7 lead into halftime.
While Seattle's lead, offensive firepower and defensive presence were the story early, that all changed in the fourth quarter. Even though the Commanders were down 38-7 at the time, Washington's starting quarterback, Jayden Daniels, was still in the game. He was trying to lead a scoring drive to salvage some pride when he was slung down during a sack and landed awkwardly. His arm bent in a direction it shouldn't have, and he was in immense pain.
Here's a look at how long Daniels could be sidelined for Washington with his injury.

Daniels timeline for recovery won't be known until the Washington quarterback undergoes further testing. With how bad it looked, the expectation is that Daniels will be sidelined for the foreseeable future.
After the game, head coach Dan Quinn just said that it was a left elbow injury. He wouldn't provide any other details and said that he expected to have an update on Monday.
