West Ham fans finally have something to celebrate after beating Newcastle on Sunday
After weeks of doom and gloom, West Ham’s 3-1 win over Newcastle on 2 November in the Premier League has given the Hammers a new boost of belief that they can still turn this season around.
The win came out of nowhere, as Newcastle were expected to beat West Ham, and most going to the London Stadium probably didn’t see a Hammers win coming.
Nuno Espirito Santo finally got his team choice correct, and it paid off. Now, West Ham can sit back and enjoy the compliments that their victory deserves.

For the first time this season, West Ham scored more than just one goal on their own patch, as the Irons managed to smash three past the Magpies.

Michael Carrick previously commented on West Ham’s attack and how the Hammers stood a chance in the future, but would need help at the back.

Now, speaking on BBC’s Match of the Day, Carrick was finally impressed by West Ham’s whole team performance.
Carrick said: “You’ve got to share the loads for both ways, there’s certainly talent there, confidence is a huge thing game to game, in terms of form, that can be a big thing.
“As a player, you can never lose that belief deep within yourself, but they deserved it today and created enough to win the game by far.”

Later on in the segment, Carrick also had massive praise for Freddie Potts, who, like himself, made his mark at West Ham as a youngster.
Carrick said: “He [Potts] was a massive plus for West Ham. The biggest thing for me was how he just fit in and played his position with real understanding.”
West Ham can use Newcastle win as springboard
The Newcastle fixture was always going to be a difficult one, regardless of the situation, but the Hammers dug in deep and were the better team on Sunday.
Now, West Ham still want to get themselves out of a potential relegation battle, and a game against Burnley next Saturday will be huge.
Game Date
West Ham vs Burnley 8 November
Bournemouth vs West Ham 22 November
West Ham vs Liverpool 30 November
West Ham’s next three Premier League fixtures.
Hammers fans will be hoping the win can kickstart something under Nuno, as the next three fixtures are all winnable for the Irons.
Liverpool are still struggling and only just managed to snap a four-game losing streak in the league, as West Ham could punish and cause an upset.
The Irons could be in a totally different picture come the end of November.
