Arda Güler escapes ankle injury, ready to face Liverpool

Real Madrid play maker Arda Güler had to leave the field during the match against Valencia with what appeared to be an ankle injury, but the Turkish player avoided any kind of damage and will be available and ready to face Liverpool when Los Blancos visit Anfield in the Champions League this Tuesday.

Güler tweaked his ankle early in the first half and appeared to be feeling some pain in the following minutes. Coach Xabi Alonso decided to take him out of the game when Real Madrid found a 3-0 lead going into halftime, but Güler is feeling fine and will not need to miss any time.

The Turkish midfielder has emerged as a key player for Real Madrid and he’s formed a great partnership with Kylian Mbappé. Güler has scored three goals and delivered six assists over 14 appearances for Los Blancos this season, and most of those passes have been delivered to the French attacker.
