Everton youngster Josh van Schoor is starting to turn heads in the youth setup after a strong start to the season.
Everton fans would love to see more young players emerge into the first team.
Young players have struggled to make that jump in recent times, though there is real hope for Harrison Armstrong.
Armstrong continues to excel on loan at Preston North End and should become a first-team player at Everton in 2026.

Everton teenager Josh van Schoor praised
Others will hope to kick on and really catch David Moyes’ eye this season.
Some Everton talents may need to move out on loan, just like Armstrong, but Premier League 2 offers a chance to shine.
Everton’s Under-21s beat Chelsea 1-0 on Friday night, with Jacob Beaumont-Clark scoring the only goal.
Boss Paul Tait has spoken on Everton’s official website, and actually picked out left-back Josh van Schoor for praise.

Tait feels that Van Schoor is ‘getting better and better’ and is really starting to show his quality with a run in the team.
Tait added that Van Schoor needs to be ‘on the front foot’ and praised his performance against Chelsea as he continues to learn.
“Josh is really coming on, getting better and better, and he just needs that belief and confidence,” said Tait.
“He’s getting a run in the team, and that’s helping him. He’s a great lad, and he’s been with us a long time, and he’s a good learner. We want him to be on the front foot a bit more, and we’ve seen that tonight,” he added.
Everton still seeking left-back answer amid Josh van Schoor rise
Van Schoor joined from Wigan Athletic at the age of just 10, and has been coming up through the Everton ranks ever since.
The 19-year-old began the season in and out of the Everton Under-21 side, but is now enjoying a consistent run in Tait’s team.
Van Schoor is still a long way from the first team, but Tait is clearly encouraged by his development.
The teenager’s rise comes as Everton continue to seek answers at left-back.
Vitaliy Mykolenko has not offered enough going forward, while Adam Aznou could go out on loan in January.
There is a chance for a left-back to emerge at Everton, and Van Schoor will hope to take his early-season momentum and impress Moyes.
