Josh Jacobs’ reaction to Tucker Kraft’s injury will hit Packers fans hard

Green Bay Packers star tight end Tucker Kraft’s injury in the second half of Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers at Lambeau Field was a deflating development for Josh Jacobs and everyone who cares for the Packers and the former South Dakota State Jackrabbits star.

Until his injury, Kraft was undeniably one of the best Green Bay players in the 2025 NFL season. He entered Week 9 leading the team in receiving yards and was also coming off a sensational performance in Week 8’s win against Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

It seems that Kraft’s season may have already ended, as his injury is feared to be a torn ACL. Still, Green Bay is holding out on the hope that it’s a less serious health trouble for Kraft, who left the Panthers game with 20 receiving yards on two receptions and three targets.

Jacobs, who extended his touchdown streak to five games with a score versus Carolina, shared his thoughts on Kraft and the tight end’s injury after Green Bay’s 16-13 loss.

“I mean, it’s tough man. I mean, in my opinion, he’s just top three by receiver. I mean, tight end in the NFL and not even just that man, the type of man he is and the way he carries himself and the way he supports the team and the way he pushes everybody every day,” Jacobs said of Kraft while talking to reporters after the game, including Lily Zhao of FOX6 News.

“You know, like I said, man, that’s heavy, but I mean, I’m praying for him and hopefully it’s not as bad as it looks.”

The former Alabama Crimson Tide star tailback led the charge on the ground for Green Bay, rushing for 87 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries.

Jacobs may have to play a much bigger role on offense for the Packers if Kraft gets ruled out for the remainder of the season.

He has 534 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns on 141 carries through eight games in the 2025 NFL campaign.
