Nico Schlotterbeck and Niklas Süle are both expected to return to the Borussia Dortmund squad for their Champions League away game against Manchester City on Wednesday.
Both centre-backs missed Dortmund’s 1-0 Bundesliga win over Augsburg on Friday – Schlotterbeck due to illness and Süle because of a swollen toe.
Fortunately for BVB, both players should be available for the trip to England, according to Bild.
Schlotterbeck will train individually on Monday, but is expected to join the final training session on Tuesday and start at the Etihad Stadium, provided there are no setbacks.
His return will be crucial, as Dortmund look to contain former BVB striker Erling Haaland and the rest of Manchester City’s attacking threats.
