The Toronto Raptors have never had a player quite like Scottie Barnes.
He helped prove that point by setting a franchise record on Sunday against the Memphis Grizzlies.
Barnes did it by putting up these stats:
19 points
12 rebounds
8 assists
5 blocks
It's the third game of Barnes' career with at least 15 points, 10 rebounds, five assists and five blocks.
According to StatMuse, no one in Raptors history has ever had three such games before.
It came in a great game for it, too, as Barnes led Toronto to a 117-104 win over the Grizzlies.
The victory improved the Raptors' record to 3-4, and they'll be hoping it can start a little surge for them. They had also won Friday night over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Toronto is back in action Tuesday at home against the Milwaukee Bucks, a game Barnes has to be at his best for to match up with Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Barnes, 24, is already in his fifth NBA season.
So far this year, he has the best field goal percentage of his career, at 50.5%, boosted by an incredibly better-than-usual 46.9% from 3-point range.
Barnes is averaging what would be a career-best 20.6 points per game. He's also averaging 7.4 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.4 blocks per game.
This is All Star play from Barnes, and the Raptors will need it to continue.
