Kansas City Chiefs lost their three-game winning streak on Sunday afternoon after a 28-21 loss to Buffalo Bills. The offensive line is probably to blame because Patrick Mahomes looked helpless against the Bills’ front seven, and now he doesn’t look happy at all.

The three-time Super Bowl MVP delivered his worst statistical performance of his career, and his no-nonsense message afterward carried the weight of urgency. Every word in his postgame comments reflects the visible frustration in his eye.
Patrick Mahomes Makes Bold Locker Room Appeal
Pat completed only 15 of 34 passing attempts for 250 yards with an interception. The champion signal-caller looked shaken, taking 15 hits and three sacks from Buffalo’s relentless pass rush.
Sitting at 5-4, the Texas native knows they cannot afford another loss before playoffs. So, the Texas native didn’t waste time making his message clear to his teammates.
“We got to learn from it. But it’s kind of like, you got to do it now,” Mahomes said. “Like there’s no easy game coming up, and there are no more chances that we can really take losses. So I mean, you got to learn from it fast, and we got to be better as a team.”

Knowing what’s ahead according to their schedule makes the situation worse for Andy Reid’s squad. They will face back-to-back games against the Broncos and Colts coming off their bye. Both of the teams tied for the best record in the NFL at 7-2.
“Offensively, we got to be better, especially on some of those big drives we had in the second half,” Mahomes continued. “And I think we’ll just continue to push away and learn on this bye week. And then come back and be ready to play our best football coming off of it.”
Pat was calm but blunt. After taking some blame on himself, he said the Bills had a smart game plan and strong pass rushers. Their defense messed up the Chiefs’ timing and kept him under pressure all game.
The 30-year-old admitted it was tough to find open receivers because the Bills kept pushing the pocket and playing tight coverage. Quietly, he was telling the Chiefs’ front seven and offensive line to act like how Bills performed this week against them.
Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen Share an Unending Rivalry
The competitive fire between these two elites extends beyond the box score. After the final whistle, camera captured Mahomes and Allen exchanging a quick handshake that was loaded with subtext.
On the field, Allen outplayed Mahomes, completing 23 of 26 passes for 273 yards and a touchdown. That 88.5 percent completion rate set a new franchise record.
The Bills now hold a 5-1 regular-season record against the Chiefs with five straight victories. But Chiefs still owns the postseason rivalry at 4-0. Every year, Allen dominated September through December, but Pat always owned January.
If these two meet again in January, Allen will have to overcome those postseason curses to change the story. The Chiefs might be sitting at 5-4, but we can’t forget that the team holds a championship pedigree.
