Arsenal forward Viktor Gyokeres was missing from training on Monday ahead of their Champions League clash against Slavia Prague this week.
Gyokeres started Arsenal's game against Burnley at the weekend, scoring before being substituted in the second half. The Swedish striker has been leading the line for the Gunners when available, but he could be in danger of missing their Champions League game this week.
Gyokeres has started 13 games in all competitions since his summer transfer window move from Sporting CP, scoring six times. The former Coventry City forward has gone through tricky spells at the Emirates Stadium, but the Gunners are certainly better off with him in attack, as they sit top of the Premier League table with a comfortable lead over their rivals.
Gyokeres Absent From Arsenal Training

According to Sky Sports, Gyokeres wasn't spotted in Arsenal's training session the day before their Champions League game against Slavia Prague.
With it being the final training session before Arsenal's game in Europe, it feels unlikely that Gyokeres is going to be available for that one. The Gunners will be expecting to win in Prague, and with a Premier League game on the weekend, Mikel Arteta might not want to risk Gyokeres even if he's feeling in a better place on Tuesday.
If Gyokeres is unavailable, it's unclear who would replace him through the middle of attack. Arteta doesn't have a natural senior replacement in the squad, with Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz on the treatment table, so we might see one of their attacking options, who usually play out wide, in the centre-forward role.
Against Brighton in the Carabao Cup, Arteta gave a surprise start to 17-year-old striker Andre Harriman-Annous. It will be interesting to see whether he's given an opportunity to impress in Europe this week, but it would be a bit of a surprise if the Spanish manager asks for him to lead the line once again if Gyokeres is unavailable.
