Manchester United's young midfielder Sekou Kone is set to return following the November international break.
The 19-year-old suffered a head injury during an Under-21 match against Tamworth in the National League Cup back in mid-August, which led to the game being abandoned.
Kone was rushed to hospital after fracturing his eye socket during a collision on the field, reports the Manchester Evening News.
Despite being discharged the next morning and continuing his recovery at home, the Mali youth international has been unable to participate in contact training, delaying his comeback.
However, U21 boss Travis Binnion recently said: "After the international break, we think he will be ready to play, which will be good.
"He has not been able to do contact, which limits the work we can do, but he is back in full training now and we will get a body of training back into him, with contact."
Kone was making his first competitive appearance of the season against Tamworth. He was named in the USA pre-season tour squad by Ruben Amorim, but didn't make an appearance.

Last season, Amorim included Kone in three Premier League matchday squads - against Tottenham, Everton and Nottingham Forest - but he has yet to make his debut for the club.
United shelled out around £1million to secure Kone from Malian club Guidars FC in August 2024.
The MEN reported in April that Kone had acclimatised to life in Manchester, largely due to Tommy Rowe, who took on intensive French lessons to communicate with him.
Binnion also embarked on French lessons, but he gave credit to Rowe for his determination to master a new language.
