Paris Saint-Germain shine bright in FIFPRO World 11

After the most successful season in its history, Paris Saint-Germain capped off a remarkable year with a historic showing in the 2025 FIFPRO Men’s World 11

For the first time ever, five PSG players were named to the Men’s World 11 – a milestone achievement for the French club

FIFPRO presents PSG's World 11 stars

The 2024/25 campaign will forever be etched in the memories of Paris Saint-Germain fans: the team finally captured the long-awaited UEFA Champions League title, completing an unprecedented quadruple that included three domestic trophies. It was, without doubt, the most glorious year in the club’s 55-year history.

With their performances at an all-time high, PSG’s stars dominated world football – and their efforts have now been recognised by their peers. The FIFPRO World 11 is the only global football award decided exclusively by the players themselves, making the honour even more meaningful.

The 2025 edition marks the first time PSG have had five players in the World 11, surpassing its previous record of three (Messi, Mbappe, and Hakimi) from the 2022 edition.

Joining Achraf Hakimi this year are:

Gianluigi Donnarumma (now with Manchester City)

Ousmane Dembele

Vitinha

Nuno Mendes

For Dembele, Vitinha, and Mendes, it’s their first-ever inclusion in the prestigious lineup. Under Luis Enrique’s guidance, these five players have helped define a golden era for PSG – one that has now been immortalised in the FIFPRO Men’s World 11.

Gianluigi Donnarumma

Position: Goalkeeper

Age: 26

Country: Italy

The 2024/25 season proved that no setback is permanent when matched with resilience and talent. Donnarumma, now at Manchester City, endured a shaky start to that final campaign with PSG, drawing criticism for early errors – but his response was magnificent.

From the turn of the year, he became PSG’s immovable last line of defence. His heroics in the Champions League penalty shoot-out against Liverpool were only the beginning; he produced match-winning performances against Aston Villa and Arsenal in later rounds.

Domestically, Donnarumma led Ligue 1 with a 66.22 percent save rate, helping PSG record the fewest goals conceded in the competition. His transformation into a commanding, composed leader in goal made him indispensable to the club’s historic season.
