The Patriots played the second half of Sunday’s win over the Falcons without Kayshon Boutte after he suffered a hamstring injury in the second quarter.

The wide receiver and one of Drake Maye’s favorite deep threats was ruled out in the third quarter. His status for the upcoming week is unclear.

“Not much,” Patriots coach Mike Vrabel said on WEEI when asked what he can say about Boutte’s injury. “Hamstring.”

Boutte is in the midst of a strong season with 23 catches for 431 yards and five touchdown catches.

New England was also shorthanded in the running back department. Rhamondre Stevenson missed Week 9 with a toe injury. It’s unknown if he’ll be ready to go for Week 10 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

“I’m not into predictions. I don’t really do timeframes,” Vrabel said. “But all I can tell you is that he’s working hard. ... So, he is fighting to get back as fast as possible."

The Patriots, who moved to 7-2 after Sunday’s win, now prepare to go on the road to take on the 6-2 Bucs, who are coming off their bye week.
