Anthony Edwards progressing in recovery from hamstring injury, return to lineup uncertain

A week after suffering a hamstring strain, Minnesota Timberwolves superstar Anthony Edwards has gotten the green light for “contact basketball activities,” the team announced on Monday.

Edwards went down in the first quarter of the Wolves’ Oct. 26 game against the Indiana Pacers and has missed action ever since. Team doctors initially said Edwards would be out for at least a week due to the injury.
