The NBA apparently isn’t the only professional sports league in America going through turmoil at the moment when it comes to sports betting and the ramifications of their athletes allegedly being involved, and now Dana White and the UFC reportedly have made a big decision of their own.

This past weekend, Isaac Dulgarian suffered a first-round submission loss at UFC Vegas 110 against Yadier Del Valle after the match only lasted a few minutes, however, the bigger outcome of the fight was that Dulgarian is no longer contracted by UFC, according to MMA insider Ariel Helwani.
🚨 BREAKING: Isaac Dulgarian has been released by the UFC, per @arielhelwani
While the official reason cited is last night’s loss, the decision comes amid controversy after Dulgarian’s betting odds drastically changed just before his fight at #UFCVegas110 last night

According to Helwani’s reporting, suspicions of Dulgarian’s betting odds to win the fight shifted massively before the fight took place. The fighter was 7-1 in his previous matches, but just moments before he stepped into the octagon Dulgarian’s odds went from a –250 favorite to -154.
Sportsbooks, including DraftKings Sportsbook, even decided to refund bets involving Dulgarian based on the suspicious betting patterns placed prior to the bout.

Even UFC fighter and commentator Michael Chiesa was skeptical of the result on ESPN+ and claimed that it was “absolute trash” after Dulgarian was submitted via a rear naked choke in the first round.
