Josh Jacobs Speaks Out About Tucker Kraft’s Injury

Green Bay Packers fans were excited to see how the target share would play out for the offense coming into the year.

With the addition of rookie Matthew Golden, many assumed that he’d quickly take over as WR1 and become the team leader in yards and receptions.

Golden has been relatively quiet thus far, but the other receivers have gotten plenty of chances.

This includes tight end Tucker Kraft, who quickly became one of Jordan Love’s favorite targets.

Kraft was slated to have a big game and a strong impact against the Carolina Panthers in Week 9, but he got injured in the second half and was unable to help the team down the stretch.

There are fears that Kraft tore his ACL, causing teammates like Josh Jacobs to express their concerns in postgame interviews.

“It’s tough, man. In my opinion, he’s top three tight ends in the NFL. Not even just that. The man he is, the way he carries himself, and the way he supports the team. It’s a heavy blow. I’m praying for him. Hopefully, it’s not as bad as it looked,” Jacobs said.

As Jacobs mentioned, Kraft is the heart and soul of this offense in many ways, and his loss will be felt if he’s out for several weeks or potentially the rest of the season.

In a lot of ways, this offense has run through Kraft, and losing him could hurt their chances of making the Super Bowl run that so many people have projected for them.

Fans and his teammates will find out more soon, but everyone is hoping for the best, that it’s not season-ending as reports suggest.
