The Milwaukee Bucks may catch a break on Monday as the injury-riddled Indiana Pacers could be without up to eight key players for their matchup.
Dustin Dopirak of The Indianapolis Star and the league’s newest injury update reported that the six Indiana players who sat out during the team’s surprising 114-109 comeback win against the Golden State Warriors on Saturday will continue to be unavailable for their upcoming game.

All-NBA guard Tyrese Haliburton, who played a key role in the Pacers’ playoff win over Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks last season, will miss the entire 2025-26 campaign due to a torn right Achilles tendon. Backup forward Obi Toppin is also unavailable and isn’t expected back until at least February as he works his way back from a right foot stress fracture.

Indiana’s expected starting backcourt of Andrew Nembhard, who is sidelined with a left shoulder strain, and Bennedict Mathurin, nursing a right big toe sprain, will both be unavailable.
Rookie guard Kam Jones continues to recover from a lower back stress reaction, while veteran point guard T.J. McConnell remains out with a left hamstring strain.
Injuries have defined the story of Indiana’s rough 1-5 start, a far cry from the expectations following two straight trips to the Eastern Conference Finals and a seven-game NBA Finals battle last season. Even so, the Pacers have remained feisty in several matchups, though their efforts have yet to translate into consistent wins.

Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo is listed as probable as he continues to manage a left knee patellar tendinopathy that sidelined him for one game, the Bucks’ upset win over the Golden State Warriors. He returned for Saturday’s narrow 135-133 loss to the Sacramento Kings. Two-way wing Alex Antetokounmpo will see action with Milwaukee’s G League affiliate, the Wisconsin Herd, while Thanasis Antetokounmpo remains off the injury list.
Bucks starting point guard Kevin Porter Jr.k is expected to be sidelined for at least a month as he recovers from surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee.
