Bayern lost 2-0 to PSG in the FIFA 2025 Club World Cup quarter-finals, but have been unstoppable ever since. Victory over Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga on Saturday was their 15th in a row in all competitions to start the 2025/26 campaign - a record-extending feat among teams in Europe's top five leagues.

Comfortably clear at the Bundesliga summit and into the DFB Cup last 16, Vincent Kompany's charges are also flying in the Champions League following wins over Chelsea, Pafos and Club Brugge by an aggregate score of 12-2.

Harry Kane's contributed 22 goals and four assists to Bayern's tilt at a third treble in 13 years after clean sweeps under Jupp Heynckes in 2012/13 and Hansi Flick in 2019/20. The Englishman has been deployed in a No.10 role at times this season, but is expected to line up as the focal point of attack in Paris.

Kane, Michael Olise and Luis Díaz were all second-half substitutes against Leverkusen, so should be fresh to start here. Nicolas Jackson, who was on target at the weekend and has scored twice in the Champions League, will likely return to the bench.

Jamal Musiala won't feature, but is running again after suffering a horror injury against PSG in July, with a return to competitive action before the end of 2025 a possibility.

PSG are top of the league phase standings after three rounds of fixtures, ahead of Bayern on goals scored. The reigning French champions lost to their Bavarian counterparts at the same stage in last season's competition, before going on to win the trophy for the first time, thrashing Inter Milan 5-0 in the final in Munich.

Like Bayern, Luis Enrique's team are top of their domestic standings, albeit only two points clear of Marseille after dropping points in four of their 11 fixtures, losing once. The Parisians won 1-0 at home to Nice on Saturday courtesy of a 95th-minute Gonçalo Ramos strike, having been held to a 1-1 draw by Lorient three days earlier.

Influential forward Désiré Doué has been ruled out for around eight weeks with a thigh tear sustained in midweek. Enrique is also without injured midfielder Fabián Ruiz and suspended defender Illia Zabarnyi, who was sent off in the 7-2 win at Bayer Leverkusen on 21 October.

However, ex-Bundesliga players Ousmane Dembéle, Achraf Hakimi (both Borussia Dortmund) and Willian Pacho (Eintracht Frankfurt) should all start. Former Bayern defender Lucas Hernández could also have a role to play.

Match stats

Bayern have scored more goals than any team in Europe’s top five leagues so far this season: 54 in 15 competitive matches.

With five goals in three games, Kane co-leads the 2025/26 Champions League scoring charts alongside former PSG attacker Kylian Mbappé (now of Real Madrid).

Bayern have won their last four Champions League meetings with PSG, including a 1-0 home triumph in last season’s league phase, and seven of 10 since 2000 (L3).

Manuel Neuer is set to make his 154th Champions League appearance (140 goals conceded). Among goalkeepers, only Iker Casillas has made more (177 games, 202 goals conceded).

Bayern are six-time Champions League/ European Cup winners, most recently winning the competition in 2019/20 after beating PSG in the final.

Hernández was part of Flick’s Champions League-winning side. The PSG defender also won four Bundesliga titles, among others, in his time at Bayern (107 appearances).

#### Neuer on facing PSG"It'll depend on small details, on how we feel on the day. The important thing is that we stay true to ourselves and try to play our game. Both teams like to have possession, so there will certainly be opportunities for counterattacks. We need to have a good defence and take advantage of situations where we can hurt PSG."
