Seahawks QB Sam Darnold's Fiancee Reacts to His Epic ‘Snf' Performance

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold's fiancée had a succinct reaction to his stellar Sunday Night Football performance.

Katie Hoofnagle shared a post from the Seahawks via her Instagram Story on Sunday, November 2, which boasted Darnold's impressive stats from the team's 38-14 win over the Washington Commanders.

Hoofnagle commented, "😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨."

The post spotlighted Darnold's performance on Sunday night, which saw him finish 21-for-24 for 330 yards and one touchdown.

According to the Associated Press, Darnold, 28, became just the second quarterback since 1991, including the playoffs, to complete all of his passes with four or more touchdown passes in the first half.

"Obviously, I can feel the flow of the game and understand that we're doing really good on offense, but no I didn't know that I hadn't thrown an incompletion," Darnold told reporters after the game. "It was pretty cool. Someone at halftime said to me that I hadn't thrown an incompletion, so I think he's to blame for throwing an incompletion in the second half."

Darnold added with a smile, "Not going to say who it was."

The win improved the Seahawks' record to 6-2, good for a tie atop the NFC standings with the Los Angeles Rams, Philadelphia Eagles and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Darnold and Hoofnagle got engaged in July, roughly four months after the quarterback signed a three-year, $100.5 million contract with Seattle.

"Here's to forever together," Hoofnagle announced via Instagram after Darnold popped the question.

Earlier this year, Darnold exclusively gushed to Us Weekly about the "unbelievable" support of Hoofnagle - a former club soccer player at the University of South Carolina - throughout the course of his NFL journey.

"You know, the fact that she just understands it," Darnold told Us. "She's a former athlete herself, and just gets kind of the grind of everything. When I just want to chill, she's very up for that, especially during the season."

He added, "She's great. She's always been my biggest supporter. And I love her, and I thank her for that all the time."

The Seahawks mark Darnold's sixth NFL team since being selected with the No. 3 overall pick by the New York Jets in the 2018 NFL Draft. The quarterback has also played for the Carolina Panthers, San Francisco 49ers and, most recently, helped lead the Minnesota Vikings to a 14-3 record in 2024.

"We have lives, we have families, we have everything just like everyone else," Darnold said about life in the league. "Whenever we are on a one-year deal, like, yeah, it's great. I understand playing in the NFL is awesome and I love every second of it. But when you have those one-year deals, which a lot of guys in the NFL are on, you're always in the back of your head thinking, ‘OK, where am I gonna play next?'"

Darnold added, "I don't even have kids of my own, but I know a lot of guys that have kids of their own. And so when you factor that into trying to move and find your way into all these cities, it can be tough."

The Seahawks return to action when they host the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, November 9.
