Charlotte Hornets partner with Gray Media to simulcast 12 games

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (GRAY MEDIA) - The Charlotte Hornets, FanDuel Sports Network, Cox Media Group’s WSOC-TV Channel 9 and sister station TV 64 and Gray Media are partnering to simulcast 12 Hornets games during the 2025-26 season. In addition to the previously announced Home Opener, there will be an additional 11 Hornets games simulcast this season, with the next game tomorrow night at New Orleans at 8 p.m.

“We’re excited to make select Hornets games available on local over-the-air television for the second consecutive season to our fans in Charlotte and markets across the Carolinas through our partnership with FanDuel Sports Network, WSOC, TV 64 and Gray Media,” said Hornets President of Business Operations Shelly Cayette-Weston. “Expanding the reach of our broadcasts is part of our organizational commitment of enhancing the fan experience and connecting with Hornets fans throughout the Carolinas.”

All games will be produced by FanDuel Sports Network with coverage starting with the Hornets LIVE pregame show 30 minutes before tipoff. Every game on FanDuel Sports Network is available throughout North Carolina and South Carolina. In the Charlotte region, WSOC-TV will simulcast eight of the remaining 11 games and TV 64 will simulcast three contests.

While WSOC-TV and TV 64 will simulcast the games to the Charlotte market, Gray Media will distribute the Hornets games to various markets throughout North Carolina and South Carolina via the Palmetto Sports & Entertainment Network and other Gray Media affiliates. The additional markets throughout the Carolinas include Columbia (WIS 10.4 & WPAM 18.1), Charleston (WCSC 5.3), Greenville-New Bern (WITN 7.2), Greenville-Spartanburg-Asheville-Anderson (WHNS 21.2), Myrtle Beach (WMBF 32.3), Raleigh (WRAL 5.2), Wilmington (WECT 6.3). Capitol Broadcasting will distribute the games in Raleigh.
