Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence played through sickness, according to his wife, Marissa Lawrence.
On Sunday, November 2, Marissa, 25, took to social media to reveal that both she and Trevor, 26, were "up all night so sick" the night before his win against the Las Vegas Raiders. (The Jaguars beat the Raiders 30-29.)
"I couldn't be more proud of Trev.. we both were up allll night so sick and I've been down baddd today I have no clue how he went and played a game…much deserved win," she wrote via Instagram Story. "It's the small things people don't know or always see but I have to brag on him because this is just crazy!!!"
Marissa, who has been married to Trevor since April 2021, couldn't help but gush about how he is "so strong and such a good leader."
"Proud to be in your corner," she added.
In a post-game interview, Jaguars coach Liam Coen also confirmed that Trevor was "throwing up all night and all morning."

"He was pale as a ghost throughout the whole game," Coen, 39, told reporters in a video shared via X. "Obviously he started a little bit frustrated with the interception down on the goal line, but I was very proud of the way he responded. When the game was on the line, he competed his tail off."
Trevor has continued to start every game this season after missing seven games in 2024 because of a shoulder injury and a concussion. He underwent shoulder surgery in December 2024.
"I feel like I've gotten better every year, but the big piece of it is being healthy," he shared with the Jaguars publication in January. "Being the franchise quarterback, I have to be out there. I have to be on the field and have to be available. That's difficult for me to not be able to do that."
Trevor went on to say that he is going to do his "part to stay out there" and "limit" direct hits.
"And not taking unnecessary risks when I need to be healthy for the season for one play - you have to weight that," he explained. "Is it worth it getting the first down, this one play on the second down or is it more important to stay healthy for the long term? I've learned a lot through injuries and the different ways they've happened, and how I can try to protect myself more because that's the main thing I need to do."
Trevor, who played for Clemson University in college, was selected first overall by the Jaguars in the 2021 NFL draft. The same year he was drafted, Trevor also tied the knot with his high school sweetheart, Marissa. The couple went on to welcome daughter Shae in January.
"It's fun to have your person with you through all the different stuff that we've gone through. It's been cool," he told Us Weekly in February 2023 regarding marrying young. "I've known her for a long time … [and] we've kind of seen the best and the worst in each other and it's been fun. It's been really awesome just to, like, get to know her more and more. I wouldn't trade that for anything."
