76ers Make Final Decision on Paul George Injury Status vs Bulls

The Philadelphia 76ers will once again be without their superstar forward, Paul George, for their seventh game of the season against the Chicago Bulls.

The 76ers have ruled George out for Tuesday’s game as he continues to recover from offseason knee surgery.

George has yet to play this season as he continues to recover from his knee surgery. Although the 35-year-old All-Star is progressing, he will have to wait to make his season debut.

His next chance to play will be on Wednesday in what will be the second night of a back-to-back for Philadelphia. The 76ers will take on the Cleveland Cavaliers for that game.

While that is the case, the 76ers are unlikely to clear him until they feel his conditioning is back up to par after a lengthy rehab process.

George had an arthroscopic procedure on his left knee in July. A few days ago, 76ers head coach Nick Nurse provided an update on George’s recovery.

“He is,” Nurse stated on George. “There's nothing new, really. I know that he had a good workout yesterday - both him and Jared - that was live-ish, 3-on-3. It was good. He is progressing and we'll just see how it goes.”
