Dre’Mont Jones is changing teams for the second half of the 2025 NFL season.
The Baltimore Ravens acquired the former Ohio State defensive lineman in a trade with the Tennessee Titans, sending a conditional fifth-round pick that could become a fourth-round pick to the Titans in exchange for Jones.

Jones heads to the Ravens after just half-a-season with the Titans, who signed him to a one-year, $8.5 million contract in the offseason.
Jones has been on a hot streak in the Titans’ past four games, recording at least one sack in all four games, including 1.5 sacks against Jim Harbaugh’s Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday. He has 26 total tackles with 4.5 sacks, nine quarterback hits and a fumble recovery for the season.

That said, the Titans are just 1-8 on the season, giving them reason to trade veterans on expiring contracts for future assets. The Ravens are just 3-5, but are only two games back in the AFC North after a two-game winning streak, and Jones – who played defensive tackle at Ohio State but is now an edge-rushing outside linebacker in the NFL – should provide a boost to a Baltimore pass-rush that’s tied for second-to-last in the league with only 11 sacks this season.
