According to multiple reports, the Baltimore Ravens have acquired veteran edge rusher Dre’Mont Jones from the Tennessee Titans in a midseason trade designed to jolt their playoff hopes back to life.
The Ravens will send a conditional fifth-round pick (which can escalate to a fourth) to Tennessee in exchange for the disruptive pass rusher, who has already logged 4.5 sacks and 9 tackles for loss this season.
For Baltimore, this isn’t just about numbers — it’s about tone. The defense that once terrified quarterbacks has looked human, and this trade signals that GM Eric DeCosta is done waiting for things to fix themselves.

Jones brings a proven track record, seven years of NFL experience, and a reputation for relentless pressure. If he clicks in Mike Macdonald’s scheme, the Ravens might finally rediscover the dominance that defined their best seasons.
Dre’Mont Jones has built a solid, if not superstar-level, track record as a disruptive defensive lineman/edge rusher. With over 30 sacks in his career, a history of strong run-defense metrics, and the versatility to play inside and outside, he offers meaningful value. His move to the Titans (and now becoming part of the trade to the Baltimore Ravens) signals that teams believe he can still step up.
