This season will be more downs than ups for Leeds United fans. The hope is that there will be enough ups to keep Leeds in the Premier League, but Robbie Savage isn’t particularly confident.
Already, that has been the case. Leeds have won three of their opening 10 Premier League games against Everton, Wolves, and West Ham. They did enough to beat Tottenham and Bournemouth at Elland Road.
But ultimately, results matter, and Leeds have lost five of their first 10 games. More losses than wins sees Leeds sit in 16th place, hovering above the relegation zone with a four-point buffer ahead of 18th place.
Three losses in their last four have concerned fans, especially with a tough run of games during the winter period. Leeds’ 11 points from 10 games is solid, but Robbie Savage is concerned for Daniel Farke’s side.

Robbie Savage stuns Chris Sutton with Leeds United prediction
Forest Green manager and pundit Savage predicted his three teams to be relegated at the end of the season on Sunday evening, on BBC’s 606. He thinks West Ham will stay up, after their win over Newcastle.
Savage is confident that Wolves and Burnley will be relegated next May, finding it difficult to predict a third side. Eventually, Savage picks Leeds as his third side to go down, to the surprise of Chris Sutton.
Savage does slightly confuse himself. Initially picking Wolves and Burnley to go down and backing West Ham to stay up, he then says West Ham, Burnley, and Leeds. Clearly, he means Wolves, not West Ham.
MORE LEEDS UNITED STORIES
“Yeah, Wolves, Burnley [to go down]. I think West Ham will stay up. I think you’re right, Christopher. West Ham, Burnley. And I’m gonna go, West Ham, Burnley. And I’m gonna go Leeds United,” Savage predicted.
“Leeds, really?” Sutton asked. “Yeah, I am,” Savage replied. Leeds might well be ahead of four other teams at the moment, but games against Liverpool, Chelsea, Man City, and Man United face Leeds this winter.

Chris Sutton has leapt to the defence of manager Daniel Farke
Sutton knows Farke’s story well, given his connection with Norwich City. Farke took Norwich into the Premier League on two occasions, winning the Championship title twice. But he struggled in the top tier.
A lack of funding meant Farke only managed six wins in 49 Premier League games. This season, Farke has already managed half of his Premier League wins with Norwich in just 10 games with this Leeds side.
Sutton has backed Farke passionately on social media, posting on X after the win over West Ham. Leeds fans aren’t as confident, with the Whites hammered by Brighton and facing a hugely tough winter.
