Packers’ Tucker Kraft had no words in first post since devastating injury

The Green Bay Packers have to move on without tight end Tucker Kraft on the field.

Kraft suffered a season-ending torn ACL injury in Sunday’s 16-13 loss to the Carolina Panthers at home, leaving Green Bay without one of its most reliable offensive weapons. Even after collecting just 20 receiving yards in the Panthers game, Kraft remains the team’s season leader in receiving yards with 489 to his name, in addition to his six touchdowns.

“He’s doing as good as you could ever be doing, considering the circumstances,” Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said of Kraft on Monday, per Rob Demovsky of ESPN. “Tuck’s a guy that, he’s not going to flinch. That’s why we love him. He’s a hell of a player, hell of a teammate, hell of a guy. I’m bummed for him. I’m bummed for us. It’s part of it. It’s got to be that next-man-up mentality. Unfortunate for him, but now other guys are going to get an opportunity.”

Packers’ Kraft shares wordless first IG post after season-ending injury

Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft is carted off the field after suffering a knee injury against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wis. The Panthers won the game, 16-13, on a 49-yard field goal as time expired.

It will be a long journey for Kraft before he gets back on the field again, but he’s ready for the challenge.

In his first Instagram Story post since the injury, Kraft posted a black and white photo of himself on the field and added an hourglass emoji, as though to signify that it’s just a matter of time before he’s ready to give it a go again.

With Kraft sidelined, the Packers can be expected to have bigger roles downfield for the likes of Romeo Doubs, Christian Watson and Luke Musgrave, who now moves up in the tight end depth chart.
