**West Ham United v Burnley**
**Premier League, London Stadium, Saturday 8 November 2025, 3pm GMT**
**Referee:** Michael Salisbury
**Assistant Referees:** Marc Perry and Natalie Aspinall
**Fourth Official:** James Linington
**VAR:** Neil Davies
**Assistant VAR:** Peter Bankes
**Michael Salisbury** has been confirmed as the referee for West Ham United’s Premier League fixture with Burnley.
Salisbury has been part of the Select Group of Referees since the 2021/22 season and has held the whistle in three Premier League matches so far this campaign, while he was fourth official to Tony Harrington during our 2-1 defeat to Crystal Palace at London Stadium in September.
The Lancashire-born official refereed two of West Ham’s fixtures during the 2024/25 campaign, away at Manchester City in January and then our narrow 1-0 home defeat against Newcastle United in March.
Furthermore, Salisbury oversaw Northampton Town’s EFL League Two Play-Off final win over Exeter City in June 2020.
He will be assisted by **Marc Perry** and **Natalie Aspinall** on Saturday afternoon.
Perry is a veteran of over 300 Premier League appointments as an assistant referee, including on six occasions this season.
Indeed, he was involved in our 2-1 away defeat at Leeds United last month, while in 2024/25 he served as assistant in both of the Hammers’ fixtures against Leicester City, our 1-1 draw with Everton at Goodison Park, and the EFL Cup second-round triumph over AFC Bournemouth in August 2024.
Aspinall, meanwhile, will run the line in the Premier League for the first time in 2025/26 at London Stadium. She made eleven of her 23 top-flight appearances as an assistant referee last season, including during West Ham’s 2-1 away defeat at Chelsea in February.
**James Linington** will serve as the fourth official.
An experienced referee across the EFL, Linington has taken charge of three West Ham games - most recently against Sheffield United in the EFL Cup in 2014 - and was last the fourth official for an Irons clash in December 2024, when we secured a 1-0 Premier League victory at Southampton on Boxing Day.
Experienced official **Neil Davies** is set to oversee Video Assistant Referee duties, and he will be assisted by **Peter Bankes**, who was the fourth official during our [**3-1 victory over Newcastle United**](https://www.whufc.com/news/match-report-west-ham-come-behind-down-newcastle) last time out.
