Seahawks, Broncos trade rumors could lead to exciting deadline for Denver and Seattle

The Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos could have something big up their sleeves ahead of the Tuesday, Nov. 4 trade deadline.

According to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, he's keeping an eye on the Seahawks and Broncos ahead of the deadline for what he calls a "holy crap" trade.

"We’ll see if any deals get done, but the two teams I’m watching today for a potential “holy crap” trade are the Seahawks and Broncos," Schultz said.

It would make sense for both teams to be aggressive, as both are in the hunt for not only a playoff spot, but for a division crown, also.

Denver is sitting at 7-2 and atop the AFC West, while Seattle is 6-2 atop the NFC West via tie-breaker.

This isn't the first time we've seen a rumor suggesting both teams could do something big.

On Tuesday morning, CBS Sports' Jonathan Jones said he isn't ruling out the Broncos doing something major on Tuesday.

"But if there is one team that could provide us with the Fourth of July on the Fourth of November, it would be the Broncos. Head coach Sean Payton has been known to throw around draft picks when he wants something badly enough," Jones wrote.

According to FOX Sports' Jay Glazer, the Seahawks have been "very aggressive" for "several different positions."

Jones adds that the Broncos could be in the market for a wide receiver, and we've also seen rumors suggesting Denver could make a play for a tight end.

The Seahawks could also use wide receiver help, but the offensive line is more pressing with the struggles of Anthony Bradford at guard.

Whatever the case may be, it appears it could be an exciting day for Broncos and/or Seahawks fans. We'll have our answer when the trade deadline passes at 4 p.m. ET on Tuesday.
