Chelsea are prepared to break their transfer record to sign Rafael Leão from AC Milan.
That is despite the club already having signed Jamie Gittens and Alejandro Garnacho to play in the left-wing position.
Leão was widely expected to leave Milan in the summer following their failure to qualify for any of the European competitions this season.
However, to the surprise of many, the 26-year old Portuguese international chose to stay put.
But with Massimiliano Allegri now in charge of the team, they could be tempted to part with him, knowing that a big influx of money could help him rebuild the squad at the San Siro.
Chelsea are reportedly ready to spend up to ₤108 million on the players, topping what they paid Benfica for Enzo Fernández and Brighton for Moises Caicedo.
A bid of that size could be too big for the Serie A giants to turn down.
