The Magpies captain has been named in Brazil's 26-man squad ahead of two friendlies against Senegal and Tunisia later this month.
The central midfielder, who was [nominated for the Premier League's EA Sports Player of the Month award for October](https://www.newcastleunited.com/en/news/guimaraes-nominated-for-octobers-ea-sports-player-of-the-month-award), featured in friendlies against South Korea and Japan last month and will aim to add to his tally of 39 caps as the five-time world champions contest two matches in Europe.
Brazil take on Senegal at Arsenal's Emirates Stadium on Saturday, 15th November (kick-off 4pm GMT) before facing Tunisia in France three days later, with the friendly taking place at Lille’s Stade Pierre-Mauroy (kick-off 7:30pm GMT).
