Week 10 NFL Offense Rankings: Dak Prescott and Cowboys Continue to Slip

With Week 9 of the 2025 NFL season in the books, the pecking order of the best offenses in the league continues to change as teams like the Detroit Lions and Buffalo Bills prove why they are among the best of the best in putting points on the board this year. Ahead of this weekend’s games, let’s take a look at the best and worst units right now with our Week 10 NFL offense rankings.

32. Tennessee Titans (LW: 32)

nfl offense rankings

In 2024, the Tennessee Titans’ offense was one of the worst in the league. Despite having some solid skills players like Calvin Ridley and Tony Pollard this year, as well as No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward, the unit remains among the very baddest in the NFL.

On Sunday, the Titans’ offense wasn’t bad. They avoided turnovers against a good Chargers defense and were competitive. Unfortunately, they were simply matched up against a better Chargers offense. While they suffered another loss, there were some positives to take away from the game.

31. Cleveland Browns (LW: 30)

nfl offense rankings

Kirby Lee-Imagn Images

The Cleveland Browns’ offense has been an unsurprising mess again in 2025. While Joe Flacco was given the keys to the offense, the greybeard’s poor play led to getting benched after four starts. Thus far, the lone bright spot has been the strong play of rookie running back Quinshon Judkins.

After a day of celebration last week, the Browns’ offense fell back to earth hard on Sunday. They were held to just 13 points in a blowout loss to the Patriots. The run game was held in check, and rookie Dillon Gabriel hit on just 21 of his 35 passes and tossed a pair of interceptions. It was a one-step forward, two steps back day for the Browns.

30. New Orleans Saints (LW: 31)

nfl offense rankings

Kiyoshi Mio-Imagn Images

Over the first eight games of the season, the New Orleans Saints went with 2024 fifth-rounder Spencer Rattler as the leader of their offense. However, in Week 9, they pulled the plug and replaced him with rookie Tyler Shough.

In his debut, Shough was fine. He was efficient with his passes and only had one turnover. But the youngster needed help from his veteran skills players and line. He didn’t get it on Sunday, and NO was held to just 10 points by a very good Rams defense.

29. Las Vegas Raiders (LW: 29)

nfl offense rankings

Geoff Burke-Imagn Images

The Las Vegas Raiders’ offense’s lone bright spot last year was the emergence of Brock Bowers as one of the best tight ends in the league. However, in 2025, the young star has not been able to help pull this group out of being a mediocre offense, even with veteran QB Geno Smith.

After some bad games, Smith gave his team what they needed. A new 300-yard throwing day, 4 TD passes, and very few mistakes. He and star TE Brock Bowers were why they scored 29 this weekend. Unfortunately, the effort went to waste as they suffered another loss, this time in OT to the Jaguars.

28. Carolina Panthers (LW: 27)

nfl offense rankings

Last season, Bryce Young showed growth. While he didn’t fill up the stat sheet, he gave Carolina Panthers management reason to believe the former No. 1 overall pick still can be the future of their organization. Unfortunately, he remains very inconsistent in his third season in the league.

Week 9 once again proved the Panthers’ offense is Rico Dowdle and some other guys. The sure-fire Pro Bowler was able to rumble for 130 yards and 2 TDs against a very good Green Bay defense on Sunday. He was a huge reason why they scored a stunning 16-13 win on the road this weekend.

27. Miami Dolphins (LW: 23)

nfl offense rankings

Rich Storry-Imagn Images

This has been a tough season for a Miami Dolphins’ offense that big things were expected from. After Tyreek Hill suffered a gruesome season-ending leg injury earlier in the year, the unit has struggled to fill his void and be competitive each week.

After having a far better performance last week, Miami and QB Tua Tagovailoa were held to just 6 points this weekend. Tagovailoa had no passing touchdowns, the run game tallied under 100 yards as a team, and three turnovers played a key role in another loss in Week 9.

26. New York Jets (LW: 28)

New York Jets head coach Aaron Glen had been challenged by the offense in his debut season. While the offense has a couple of high-impact talents in Garrett Wilson and Breece Hall, new starting QB Justin Fields has been terrible in his first season in New York.

After some awful performances in recent weeks, the Jets’ offense finally had a breakthrough showing on a sad day for the organization. Fields was rock-solid, but the run game was the star of the show as they posted 254 combined yards (133 from Breece Hall). It came at just the right time as their 39 points helped score an upset win over Cincy.

25. Jacksonville Jaguars (LW: 25)

nfl offense rankings

Kirby Lee-Imagn Images

The Jacksonville Jaguars’ offense was a major disappointment last season. Even when former No. 1 overall pick Trevor Lawrence was available, they struggled. They’re hoping for a turnaround this year with new head coach Liam Coen and the help of Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter.

After a couple of bad weeks, the Jaguars’ offense had a day they badly needed. Lawrence was solid, but their struggling run game led the way as they posted 151 total yards and 3 TDs. They also got some nice performances in the pass game to post a workmanlike 30 points in a win over Las Vegas.

24. Arizona Cardinals (LW: 26)

nfl offense rankings

Joe Rondone/The Republic / USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images

The Arizona Cardinals’ offense had the pieces to be a pretty good unit. The big question was, would everything come together for them in 2025? That will be tough to do after they lost James Conner to a season-ending foot injury early in the year. Plus, Marvin Harrison Jr. hasn’t leaped forward as they have needed in his second season.

With Kyler Murray still sidelined in Week 9, backup Jacoby Brissett put forth another strong performance. Throwing for nearly 261 yards, 2 TDs, and no INTs. While the units stats don’t jump off the page, they made the most of three turnovers by the Cowboys and scored a big road win on Monday night.

23. Minnesota Vikings (LW: 24)

nfl offense rankings

Matt Krohn-Imagn Images

After Pro Bowler Sam Darnold left in free agency, the Minnesota Vikings gave the keys to the offense to former first-round pick JJ McCarthy. But the youngster has missed much of the season with an ankle injury. Leaving journeyman Carson Wentz to lead the O for multiple games and losses.

In Week 9, McCarthy was back, and he was solid. He led the offense to 27 points and got 142 total yards from his run game. With some serious help from his defense, it was enough to score a big upset win on the road against division rivals the Lions.

22. Atlanta Falcons (LW: 22)

nfl offense rankings

Dale Zanine-Imagn Images

It seemed like the Atlanta Falcons’ offense made the right move in 2024 when they moved on from expensive free agent addition Kirk Cousins to make Michael Penix Jr. their new starting QB. And he showed signs of his potential in limited action. However, he has struggled at times this year and was even benched in Week 3.

On Sunday, the young QB was back in the lineup and did a rock-solid job as he posted three TD passes. However, the Patriots’ defense made sure to limit the heart of their offense, running back Bijan Robinson, who had just 46 rushing yards. Although they still scored 23, it wasn’t enough to get an upset win in Week 9.

21. Houston Texans (LW: 20)

nfl offense rankings

Sean Thomas-Imagn Images

Heading into 2025, the Houston Texans hoped young star CJ Stroud and the offense could bounce back from a disappointing showing last year. Early in the season, it started to seem like his breakthrough season may have been an anomaly. However, in recent weeks, he has started to look like the star they saw in 2023 again.

In Week 9, they had a chance to score an upset over a hot Broncos team. Unfortunately, the talented QB took a big hit in the second quarter that gave him a concussion and forced him out of the game. If he stayed healthy, the Houston offense probably would have led the team to a win instead of losing 18-15 on Sunday.

20. Washington Commanders (LW: 18)

nfl offense rankings

Gary A. Vasquez-Imagn Images

Top pick and Heisman Trophy winner Jayden Daniels was everything the Washington Commanders’ offense could have hoped for and more in 2024. That is why they had even higher expectations this year. However, dual-threat RB Austin Ekeler’s season-ending injury has been a big blow to the unit, as well as multiple injuries to their QB.

Another one emerged on Sunday when Daniel suffered a nasty dislocated elbow that could keep him out for a few weeks. In their blowout loss to the Seahawks, they got 157 yards and 2 TDs from their run game. But their passing attack was completely shut down ,and they only managed 14 points.

19. New York Giants (LW: 21)

NFL: Los Angeles Chargers at New York Giants

Brad Penner-Imagn Images

The New York Giants’ offense has undergone a notable evolution in 2025. Despite signing former Seahawks star Russell Wilson, he was benched after three games for rookie Jaxson Dart, and the youngster has brought life to the offense. Fellow rookie Cam Skattebo also emerged as a lead back. But he sadly joined star receiver Malik Nabers on the sidelines for the rest of the season after suffering a gruesome dislocated ankle in Week 8.

In Week 9, Dart and the offense played admirably as they were able to get 24 points on the board against a solid San Francisco defense. The rookie QB posted 247 total yards and 3 TDs. However, their defense let them down, and they still lost by 10 to the 49ers.

18. Chicago Bears (LW: 19)

nfl offense rankings

Joseph Maiorana-Imagn Images

The Chicago Bears’ offense looked promising early in 2024 but experienced a steady decline for much of last season. But it has been the opposite this year. After some early struggles under new head coach Ben Johnson, the Bears’ O seems to be on an upward swing right now.

In Week 9, they made the most of three Joe Flacco turnovers to pull out a big win in a wild shootout against the Bengals. In their 47-42 win, Williams threw 3 TDS, but rookie seventh-rounder Kyle Monangai was a beast as he ran for a career high 176 yards. Plus, first-round pick Colston Loveland also finally broke out and posted 118 yards and 2 TDs in the win.

17. Pittsburgh Steelers (LW: 16)

nfl offense rankings

Charles LeClaire-Imagn Images

The Pittsburgh Steelers’ offense is led by another QB well past his prime in 2025. This time, it’s league legend Aaron Rodgers. While they added DK Metcalf, they lost Najee Harris in free agency and traded George Pickens. They aren’t an elite group, but they continue to get the job done and avoid being the weak link most Sundays.

In Week 9, the Pittsburgh O was again rock solid. For once, they got a big day from their defense, and they rewarded their teammates by making the most of five turnovers to put up 27 in a huge win this weekend. They weren’t great, but they continue to be good enough.

16. Cincinnati Bengals (LW: 17)

nfl offense rankings

Kayla Wolf-Imagn Images

Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals’ offense were expected to be one of the best units in 2025. However, after Burrow suffered an injury that should sideline him for the rest of the regular season, the unit went to terrible places with backup Jake Browning. It led to a desperate move by trading for journeyman Super Bowl winner Joe Flacco in Week 5.

On Sunday, the Bengals’ offense did enough to get a win. Sure, Flacco having three turnovers didn’t help, but their defense once again let them down in a frustrating 47-42 loss to the Bears. Their two star receivers were outstanding again as the old QB threw for close to 500 yards and four TDs in the defeat.

15. Denver Broncos (LW: 14)

nfl offense rankings

Ron Chenoy-Imagn Images

Denver Broncos QB Bo Nix showed last season he was well ahead of schedule in leading an underrated unit. The big question this season was if he and the offense could take another step forward. Especially after adding an underrated veteran running back, JK Dobbins, this offseason.

After a pair of big days, the Texans’ defense stopped Denver’s momentum. Nix hit on just 18 of his 37 passes and only managed 173 yards through the air. The run game also only tallied 100 total yards. Their 18 points could have spelled doom in many other weeks. However, their top five defense was great again, and held Houston to just 15 in another win.

14. Green Bay Packers (LW: 13)

nfl offense rankings

Junfu Han / USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images

More was expected from Jordan Love, Josh Jacobs, and the Green Bay Packers offense in 2024. The expectations remain high this year, especially with the addition of first-round pick Matthew Golden. So far, they have been an inconsistent group.

Proof of that inconsistency came this weekend. After a great showing last week, the Pack offense was surprisingly held to just 13 points against the Panthers. While they could move the ball between the 20s and had more total yards than Carolina, they just were unable to get it in the end zone and points on the board. Plus, a pair of turnovers didn’t hurt.

13. San Francisco 49ers (LW: 15)

nfl offense rankings

Darren Yamashita-Imagn Images

The San Francisco 49ers brought back the same unit as 2024, sans Deebo Samuel. But they began the season without WR1 Brandon Aiyuk, and unfortunately, they have dealt with early-season injuries to offensive stars George Kittle and Brock Purdy.

With Purdy out, Christian McCaffrey has carried the offense. He did so again with a big game against the Giants. Not only did he run for 106 yards and a TD, but he also added 67 yards and another TD through the air. He was fantastic again in a road win on Sunday.

12. Philadelphia Eagles (LW: 12)

nfl offense rankings

Eric Hartline-Imagn Images

The PhiladelphiaEagles’ adding Saquon Barkley last year proved to be a paradigm shift moment in the NFC as the former Giants star delivered an MVP-caliber season. Unfortunately, the magic has disappeared on offense as Philly tries to defend their throne.

The day Philly fans have been waiting all season for finally came on Sunday as Barkley exploded against his former team, rumbling for 150 yards against the Giants. However, the Eagles also got another 104 yards from backup RB Tank Bigsby. The offense posted 276 yards on the ground in a smashing win over New York.

11. Los Angeles Chargers (LW: 10)

nfl offense rankings

Andrew Nelles / The Tennessean / USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images

With Jim Harbaugh as head coach, the Los Angeles Chargers‘ offense has tried to rely less on the arm of gifted quarterback Justin Herbert for a more balanced attack each week. However, after losing Najee Harris for the season and dealing with injuries to first-rounder Omarion Hampton, the LA offense has been forced to adjust in recent weeks.

On Sunday, despite an interception, Justin Herbert was the star of the show for LA’s offense. The star QB tossed for 250 yards and a pair of TDs. However, he also ran for a big 57 yards and another TD on the ground. His performance was a bit reason why the Chargers avoided a bad loss to a 1-8 Titans team this weekend.

10. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (LW: 9)

nfl offense rankings

Nathan Ray Seebeck-Imagn Images

Baker Mayfield’s career renaissance with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers has been one of the best stories in football over the last two years. However, running back Bucky Irving has added balance to the offense last season, and it is part of why this unit is one of the best in the game.

After a tough day last week, the Bucs offense played a bit better in Week 8. While it wasn’t pretty, Tampa put up 23 points and made the most of three turnovers by the Saints this weekend. However, the absence of stud running back Bucky Irving is becoming more apparent each week.

9. Baltimore Ravens (LW: 11)

nfl offense rankings

Sam Navarro-Imagn Images

The Baltimore Ravens‘ offense was one of the league’s elites last season. They delivered a balanced attack led by superstar Lamar Jackson and backed by future Hall-of-Fame running back Derrick Henry. While they were again fantastic to start the year, the injury bug has led to some tough days for the unit in recent weeks.

In Week 9, they finally had their superstar QB back, and he was highly efficient in running the O. He only missed on five of his 23 passes and racked up four TD passes. With his threat back, it also opened up things for Derrick Henry as he had his best game weeks, rumbling for 119 yards in their win over the Dolphins.

8. Kansas City Chiefs (LW: 6)

nfl offense rankings

Kevin R. Wexler-NorthJersey.com / USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images

There were signs that the Kansas City Chiefs’ offense’s best days were behind it. They were not as formidable in 2024, as their receivers were less impactful, and Travis Kelce seemed to be in a big career decline. However, they kept suggesting that if they could get healthy this year, they could be great again. They weren’t lying.

After getting red-hot in recent weeks, Buffalo’s defense was able to slow the Chiefs O down in Week 9. They tried to bottle up Patrick Mahomes and not allow him to extend plays. They did that as they sacked him three times, and he only ran for five yards. With the run game not offering much, KC only scored 21 in a tough loss this weekend.

7. Dallas Cowboys (LW: 4)

Dallas Cowboys

Ken Blaze-Imagn Images

Last season was a wash for the Dallas Cowboys‘ offense after Dak Prescott suffered a season-ending injury in Week 10. However, with him back healthy and big-play threat George Pickens joining the unit, they have become one to worry about in 2025.

Unfortunately, the Dallas offense had another rough showing, this time at home to the Cardinals. The unit’s three turnovers are why they were on the wrong end of a 27-17 defeat. Although they got solid games from key skills players, Prescott was hounded by the Cards’ defense and was ineffective for much of the day.

6. New England Patriots (LW: 7)

nfl offense rankings

Eric Canha-Imagn Images

Rookie Drake Maye wasn’t the problem with the New England Patriots’ offense in 2024. Now, with some better pieces around him and Mike Vrabel in charge as head coach, the unit has evolved into one of the most underrated and efficient offenses in the league.

The unit continued to hum along on Sunday as they put up 24 in a hard-fought win over the Falcons. Maye had a rare up and down day as he hit on 19 of 29 passes for 259 yards and 2 TDs, he also added 20 yards on the ground. However, he also had two turnovers and was sacked six times. Fortunately, the unit did enough to score another victory this weekend.

5. Seattle Seahawks (LW: 8)

nfl offense rankings

USA Today Sports

The Seattle Seahawks’ offense was a solid group in 2024. The unit has been even better this year by switching from Geno Smith to Sam Darnold at QB. Plus, stud receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba is proving each week why he is a legit and dangerous WR1 in the NFL.

The dynamic combo of Darnold and JSN delivered again on Sunday. In their 38-14 win over the Commanders, the WR ended up reeling in 129 of the 330 yards Darnold had this weekend. The QB’s 4 TD passes continued to prove why his breakout year last season was no fluke.

4. Los Angeles Rams (LW: 5)

nfl offense rankings

Kiyoshi Mio-Imagn Images

If Matthew Stafford’s back doesn’t end his season at some point, the Los Angeles Rams offense will remain one of the NFL’s top units again because of the strong skill players they have in Puca Nacua, Davante Adams, and Kyren Williams.

In Week 9, the offense was a well-oiled machine against the Saints. Stafford only missed on 8 of his 32 passes while posting 4 more TD passes. They also got a big day from the run game as Williams rumbled for 114 yards and a TD, but also second-year man Blake Corum added 58 yards on the ground. When they are this well-balanced, LA’s offense is a problem.

3. Buffalo Bills (LW: 3)

nfl offense rankings

Robert Deutsch / USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images

Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills‘ offense were one of the best in the league all of last season by using a total team effort, smart play, and a balanced attack. It is why the QB won his first MVP award. All of the pieces from last season are back this year, including talented running back James Cook.

In Week 9, Cook again proved why he is one of the better backs in the game. A week after running for over 200 yards, he tallied 114 more against a good Chiefs front. But of course, in a big game against KC, Allen was stellar as he missed on just three of his 26 passes and posted three more TDs (2 on the ground) in a huge victory this weekend.

nfl offense rankings

Daniel Jones beating out Anthony Richardson for the Indianapolis Colts’ starting QB job in the summer created hope that the unit could be better in 2025. However, no one expected the offense to be anywhere close to what they have turned into this season.

After another monster day last week, the Steelers did something opponents will be looking hard at this week. They actually made the Colts play badly. In a season-worst day, Jones had five of their six turnovers, and Jonathan Taylor was completely held in check. Despite a day full of mistakes, Indy still put 20 points on the board in a bad loss.

1. Detroit Lions (LW: 2)

nfl offense rankings

Junfu Han / USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images

The Detroit Lions’ offense was the cream of the crop for much of last season. They could throw over teams but also bludgeon them with a solid run game. However, many wondered if they could maintain that elite play without former OC Ben Johnson. They have and then some in 2025.

Detroit’s offense played well on Sunday, scoring 24 points against the Vikings. Jared Goff tossed for nearly 300 yards, and two receivers tallied 97 yards apiece. However, it wasn’t enough in Week 9, and they suffered a surprising 27-24 loss this weekend.
