CBS Sports' Titans trade rumor delivers crushing news to Steelers, Bills, Giants

The Tennessee Titans have been major sellers at the 2025 NFL trade deadline, and that trend could continue on Tuesday.

Tennessee's latest move came on Monday night when they traded away edge rusher Dre'Mont Jones to the Baltimore Ravens for a 2026 conditional fifth-round pick.

With the Titans selling their veteran players, wide receiver Calvin Ridley has been thrown into trade rumors. Tennessee could likely land solid value for the dynamic receiver, as many squads, including the Pittsburgh Steelers, Buffalo Bills, and New York Giants, are in need of receivers. However, it sounds like Ridley won't be putting on a new uniform.

Jonathan Jones of CBS Sports released the latest intel he's heard from around the league on Tuesday, and he doesn't think Ridley will get moved before the 4 p.m. ET deadline.

"I don't see Tennessee dealing Calvin Ridley, either. They don't want to make things tougher for top overall pick Cam Ward," Jones wrote.

Ridley has missed the Titans' last three games due to a hamstring injury, but when healthy, he's a top target for rookie quarterback Cam Ward. Ridley has tallied 16 receptions for 290 yards in six games this year.

During the 2024 campaign, Ridley was productive despite dealing with inept quarterback play. The Alabama product posted 1,017 receiving yards on 64 catches with four touchdowns.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Steelers and Bills have been making calls around the league for receivers. The Giants could also be interested in an impact pass-catcher to support rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart, who has shown a ton of promise in his first handful of starts.

With Ridley expected to stay put in Nashville, as Jones mentioned, all three teams will have to take a look at other options on the receiver market. We'll see what transpires on Tuesday as the 4 p.m. ET deadline inches closer.
