U21 Report | Charlton 1 Brentford 1

Charlton’s U21s stretched their unbeaten run to 11 games with a 1-1 draw against Brentford U21s on Tuesday afternoon.

Emmanuel Sol-Loza was forced off through injury inside nine minutes and was replaced by Paris Lock.

The young Addicks went behind on 18 minutes, as a deflected strike from Romelle Donovan went beyond the reach of George Hardy.

After chances at both ends, Henry Rylah was forced off in the second half and having used all the substitutes available, Charlton were forced to play the last 10 minutes with 10 men.

The numerical disadvantage didn’t hinder the young Addicks, as Bradley Tagoe equalised in stoppage time. After a defensive mix-up at the back from the Bees, the ball found its way to Tagoe, who fired home from close range to earn his side a point.

The U21s are next in action on Friday evening when they travel to Swansea City in (KO 7pm GMT).
