Rashan Gary Holds Firm Belief in Packers Despite Sunday’s Loss

The Green Bay Packers suffered a shocking Week 9 loss to the Carolina Panthers as big favorites.

Their two defeats this season have come against Carolina and the Cleveland Browns, and a tie with the Dallas Cowboys is part of a growing list of missed opportunities.

Each result could have gone in the other direction with better execution in critical moments.

Packers defensive end Rashan Gary addressed the latest setback and reinforced his belief in the team’s potential.

“Green Bay is still the team that we believe. We’re a contender. We’ve just got to be consistent every day. We’ve not really proven to anybody else how great we can be. Every day that we step in here, we’re trying to prove just how great we can be. That’s all it is,” Gary said.

#Packers have great wins (home against Lions, at Steelers) and bad losses (at Browns, home against Panthers).

What does Rashan Gary make of it all?

Green Bay opened the season with convincing victories against the Detroit Lions and Washington Commanders that suggested it belonged among the NFC’s elite.

The following six games paint a different picture.

The Packers have struggled to maintain that early dominance and now face questions about their ability to sustain success over a full season.

Gary recognizes the flaws that need addressing before the issues compound further.

Fixing them becomes increasingly urgent as the schedule gets more difficult down the stretch.

The Packers control their playoff destiny with nine games remaining.

They are in first place in the NFC North and would be the No. 4 seed in the conference.

Their immediate test comes in Week 10 against the Philadelphia Eagles on “Monday Night Football.”

Five division matchups remain, including two games each against the Minnesota Vikings and Chicago Bears, plus one against the Lions.

A statement victory against the Eagles could provide the momentum the Packers need to separate in a very competitive division.
