**It started with Sandro Tonali and then Kieran Trippier, and now Bruno Guimaraes looks like he could be the next Newcastle United player to miss a game through illness.**
There were rumours that Bruno Guimaraes wasn't 100% on Sunday due to feeling ill, and if that's the case, then keeping him on for 90 minutes was a crazy call by Eddie Howe.
The fact that rumours started today that the Brazilian was suffering and could miss Wednesday's game only served to back up that rumour.
Now, Eddie Howe has confirmed that Guimaraes is the latest player to be hit with the sickness bug going through the camp.

Bruno Guimaraes is a doubt for the Champions League clash on Wednesday
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Speaking to the media ahead of Wednesday night's clash with Athletic Bilbao in the Champions League, Eddie Howe named a few players who had been stricken with the bug and admitted he'll have to wait to make the call on Bruno.
> "Various players have picked something up. Sandro initially, Jacob Murphy, Kieran and now Bruno. We will make a decision on Bruno tomorrow."
Our hope is that if Bruno isn't 100% then he doesn't play. Even if he's at 90%, just let him rest and get back to 100%.
It's time for Eddie Howe to use his head to pick the team, rather than his heart
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For all we do tend to struggle more without Bruno in the side, it's just not worth the risk.
We have good enough backup to go without Bruno for a game, and honestly, after Sunday's performance at West Ham, absolutely nobody is above being dropped for this game.
It's time for Howe to be ruthless and to pick the team with his head over his heart.
