Georginio Rutter says it is a dream to play up front with Danny Welbeck.
The France under-21 international and England frontman quickly struck up a great understanding in attack with the Seagulls.
But Rutter says they have not had to force their on-field relationship.
Rutter is at best operating in support of a main No.9 such as Welbeck, who is being linked with an England recall.
The duo quickly combined last season for winning goals against Spurs and Newcastle.
And it was Rutter’s precise pass which sent Welbeck away for his openier against Newcastle recently.
Rutter said: “Since I came here I think he helped me a lot.
“He is Danny Welbeck, he has a lot of experience. Clinical.
“I didn't force to play with him like natural in training.
“We find each other, connection. It is a dream for me to play with such a striker, so I'm very happy.
“And hopefully we can go on like this.”
Rutter enjoyed one of his better games this season as [Albion](https://www.theargus.co.uk/sport/albion/?ref=au) beat Leeds 3-0.
The result followed defeats by Manchester United and Arsenal, the latter in the Carabao Cup.
Rutter said: “I think it was very important for the confidence. I think we had not a good week.
“We lost twice, and I think it's good to have this win, and the clean sheet as well.
“We have to work good and we focus for Crystal Palace.”
