MIAMI, Nov. 4 (UPI) -- J.J. McCarthy, Darius Slayton and Tre Tucker are among my fantasy football waiver wire priorities for Week 10.
Sam Darnold, Theo Johnson and the Seattle Seahawks defense/special teams are among my other targets.
Four teams are on bye, which could result in many valuable players ended up on the waiver wire or as available free agents. Be sure to monitor your league's transactions to help improve your roster, while also ensuring you make adjustments based on potential lineup absences.
Tucker Kraft and Luke McCaffrey are among the injured players who can be dropped from fantasy football rosters. The status of other injured players should be monitored, as those injuries could impact other players on their teams.
Check out my full list of waiver wire targets below if you need replacement options for injured starters. Injuries, breakout performances and other factors have cleared the way for several players to warrant a spot on fantasy football team benches or maybe even in starting lineups.
Players from the Cincinnati Bengals, Dallas Cowboys, Kansas City Chiefs and Tennessee Titans, who are on bye, should be benched, or dropped in some cases. My waiver wire priorities each carry an ownership percentage of 60% or less.
Here are my top players to add and top players to drop for Week 10:

QUARTERBACK
J.J. McCarthy and Sam Darnold are my top quarterback targets this week. They both make stellar streaming options, especially if your normal starter is on bye.
McCarthy returned from an injury hiatus last week and threw for 143 yards and accounted for three scores for the second time in three career starts in a Minnesota Vikings win over the Detroit Lions.
This week, the second-year quarterback will face a Baltimore Ravens defense that allowed the ninth-most fantasy points and sixth-most passing yards per game to opposing quarterbacks so far this season. The Ravens also surrendered at least 260 passing yards and/or four touchdown passes to quarterbacks in four of their last five games.
Look for McCarthy and the Vikings to find the end zone multiple times through the air in this matchup.
Darnold, who also was among my waiver wire targets last week, rewarded his stockholders with 330 yards and four touchdowns in a Seattle Seahawks win over the Washington Commanders on Sunday in Landover, Md. He has now throw at least two touchdown passes in five of his last seven games.
This week, Darnold and the Seahawks will face the Arizona Cardinals, who allowed the 11th-most passing yards per game to quarterbacks so far this season. They also allowed at least 250 passing yards and/or multiple scores to the position in five of their eight games this season.
Look for Darnold to eclipse 250 passing yards. He could climb into the Top 12 for the week if he finds the end zone multiple times.
RUNNING BACK
This week's running back pool isn't very deep, but it's a good time to target backups at the position either as insurance for the starter on their respective team, if you also roster that player, or as lottery ticket options.
Some of my listed targets have immediate value, including Devin Singletary and Isaiah Davis, who have carved out small roles for their respective offenses.
Nick Chubb, Chris Rodriguez and Emari Demercado are among the other players to consider for your bench.
WIDE RECEIVER
My wide receiver targets for Week 10 can help you as streaming options if you need help this week because your typical starter is injured or on bye.
Darius Slayton and Tre Tucker are my favorite options. Slayton drew a season-high seven targets in Week 9, when he totaled five catches for 62 yards in a New York Giants loss to the San Francisco 49ers.
The veteran pass catcher has yet to score this season, but should continue to get looks in a Giants offense that I expect to lean more on its passing game going forward.
This week, Slayton and the Giants will take on the Chicago Bears, who allowed the second-most fantasy points and touchdowns per game to wide receivers through nine weeks. The Bears also just allowed receiving yardage totals of 121, 111 and 66 to three Cincinnati Bengals wide receivers, who found the end zone three times in Week 9.
I don't expect Slayton to have a career-best outing, but he should see enough action to provide high-end WR2 value against the league's worst defense.
Tucker drew at least four targets in six of his eight appearances this season. He totaled four touchdowns so far this season, but only eclipsed 70 yards once. I expect his target totals to increase, especially due to the recent departure of Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers, who was traded to the Jacksonville Jaguars on Tuesday.
Tucker should be quarterback Geno Smith's third option most weeks, but could develop more rapport down the stretch. He is a boom-or-bust WR3 for now.
TIGHT END
Theo Johnson and Luke Musgrave are the tight ends to look at in Week 10.
Johnson found the end zone in four of his last six appearances, including in the Giants' Week 9 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. He logged a total of five scores through the first nine weeks of the season. Like most tight ends, Johnson needs to find the end zone to provide Top 10 fantasy football value, but his recent success at doing just that warrants a spot in starting lineups.
As previously stated, the Giants also have a very favorable NFC matchup against the Chicago Bears on Sunday in Chicago. This is a great spot to throw Johnson into your lineup, if you are in a league that requires starting tight ends.
Musgrave is a bit more of a long shot, but has a chance to carve out a role in the Green Bay Packers offense due to a season-ending injury to tight end Tucker Kraft. The Packers also are dealing with injuries and inconsistency from the wide receiver position.
Musgrave caught a season-high three passes for 34 yards in Week 9, when he saw more action due to Kraft's exit. He hauled in 50 of 66 targets for 485 yards and a score through his first three seasons in the NFL.
While Musgrave doesn't have a lot of touchdowns on his resume, he should see a healthy dose of looks and should be valuable in points-per-reception leagues that require starting tight ends.
