The Phoenix Suns will aim to improve to 4-4 and win their third consecutive game when they face the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday at 10 p.m. ET, though they'll remain without one of their best players.
Jalen Green has yet to make his season debut due to a strained right hamstring he sustained ahead of the preseason, and he'll remain sidelined against Golden State, according to the NBA's official injury report.
The 23-year-old shooting guard was acquired by the Suns in a deal that sent Kevin Durant to the Houston Rockets this offseason, though the former has yet to play this season. On a more positive note, it appears as though Green could be nearing a return to game action.

Jalen Green progressing toward return
Head coach Jordan Ott said Monday that Green is progressing well and remains day-to-day, according to Shane Young of Forbes.com.
“He's just had a great response,” Ott said. “It's been a productive last couple days for him. Today was a lower-ish day (on the court). So it's kind of timed up to where we'll stick to being day-by-day. But he's in a good spot.”
According to Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic, Green also participated in full court 5-on-5 work ahead of Saturday's practice, which bodes well for his chances of returning in the near future.
Meanwhile, Grayson Allen, Collin Gillespie and Jordan Goodwin are candidates to continue seeing increased playing time with Green sidelined.
As for Green, his next opportunity to make his season debut will come Thursday against the Los Angeles Clippers.
