I mean we knew that right? It kind of reminds me of guards that played for John Calipari at Kentucky. They were talented recruits, had pretty good college careers but then exploded when they got to the NBA. It makes you wonder how we laid an egg against Kentucky and Florida with a talent like his.
Anyways, it’s Tuesday so that means it is time to run through the NFL games from the weekend to see how our former Rebels did.
An absolute dime dropped by Darius Slayton as the defender made contact. Dart put this ball in the perfect spot, just a shame he has no help around him. He finished the game with 191 yards passing and two touchdowns while leading the Giants in rushing with eight carries for 56 yards and another score.
Jordan Watkins brought in his lone target for 19 yards for San Francisco.
Benito Jones checked in this week with two tackles and a sack for the Miami Dolphins.
Tre’ Harris hauled in both of his targets for 18 yards against the Tennessee Titans.
DK Metcalf was shut down by the Colts secondary, catching just two balls for six yards.
Malik Heath also caught his lone target for 11 yards for the Packers.
Dalton Knox and Elijah Moore each caught one ball for the Buffalo Bills, 30 and 28 yards respectively.
Trey Amos was in on seven tackles for the Commanders, four solo.
Walter Nolen III made his NFL debut in a LOUD way in an upset win against the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football. The rookie finished with a sack, two tackles for a loss and a pass deflection.
Not the greatest week overall for former Rebels, but more and more are headed to the league to have an impact every year!
