The Pittsburgh Steelers had needs heading into NFL trade deadline day on Tuesday.
They were also coming off a big Sunday win over the Indianapolis Colts. This could be a chance to raise the energy even higher in Pittsburgh.
And there were some big deals on deadline day, particularly in who the New York Jets sent away.
In the end, the Steelers never joined the party.

Did the Steelers make any trades?
No, the Steelers didn't make any trades on Tuesday before the 4 p.m. ET deadline.
They had already made a trade a week ago to get safety Kyle Dugger from the New England Patriots, and that will be the extent of their business.
Why didn't the Steelers make any trades?
In the end, cost must have not matched value for the Steelers' targets.
They were reportedly in on Jakobi Meyers, but the Raiders' WR ended up in Jacksonville instead of the other reported possible destinations of Pittsburgh or Buffalo.
The only other main WR to move on Tuesday before the deadline was the Saints' Rashid Shaheed, who went to the Seahawks. The Colts also had Adonai Mitchell go to the Jets as part of the massive Sauce Gardner deal.
Pittsburgh gave out some big contracts this offseason, which likely hampered them slightly in making deals, and so they stayed put with what they've got.
