AIA-Still-There-But-Not Forever: Evolving Role from Front to Training Wear
Tottenham Hotspur and AIA Group Limited have confirmed an extension of their long-standing partnership, one of the Premier League’s most enduring commercial relationships. According to the club’s official statement, AIA will remain Tottenham’s front-of-shirt sponsor until the end of the 2026/27 season, after which it will transition into the role of Global Training Partner from July 2027 through to June 2032.

According to Football.London, one of the partnership’s standout achievements has been its social impact. To date, over 175,000 young people across Asia have participated in AIA football clinics led by Tottenham coaches. These initiatives have helped nurture grassroots talent and promote healthy lifestyles across the continent.
In 2022, AIA launched the AIA One Billion (AOB) initiative, an ambitious campaign to engage one billion people by 2030 to live Healthier, Longer, Better Lives. The programme has already reached over half a billion individuals, with Spurs’ involvement integral to that success.
AIA’s Group Chief Marketing Officer, Stuart A. Spencer, explained that the renewed partnership reflects both organisations’ shared belief in the power of sport to encourage healthier living and self-development.
“The evolution of our partnership reflects our shared belief in the power of sport to inspire healthier living and personal development. As we enter the next chapter of our collaboration, we’re excited to build on our achievements and introduce new initiatives that empower people across Asia.”

Ryan Norys, Tottenham’s Chief Revenue Officer, said that the partnership with AIA has been a defining one for both brands, bringing shared growth and memorable achievements. He noted that beyond commercial success, the collaboration has made a meaningful impact on thousands of young people across Asia through football coaching and wellbeing programmes.
Norys emphasised that the club is proud of how the partnership has combined football and community outreach, helping inspire healthier lifestyles through sport. He expressed excitement for the next chapter, which will see Tottenham and AIA continue to work closely together under a renewed long-term deal.
“Importantly, the partnership has been able to make a tangible, positive difference in the lives of thousands of young people across Asia – bringing our unique brand of football coaching to a region that has such a huge passion for the game – with the clear message of empowering people to live Healthier, Longer, Better Lives”.
As AIA transitions to its new role as Tottenham’s Global Training Partner from 2027, the club is expected to seek a new front-of-shirt sponsor, opening a new commercial era while maintaining AIA’s deep-rooted legacy.
Both parties enter this next chapter with a shared goal: continuing to inspire through football, community, and wellbeing.
