NBA All-Star On Cowboys Quarterback Dak Prescott: ‘He's A Bum'

Draymond Green has never been one to shy away from saying what is on his mind. Whether it is talking trash in the middle of an NBA game, to talking on his podcast, he is going to say what is on his mind.

During an episode of ‘Why is Draymond Green Talking Football?’ podcast with Jordan Schultz, the four-time All-Star went on a rant on Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott.

“Dak’s a bum,” Green said. “He’s getting some numbers and they stink. Dak’s a bum. You will never win with Dak. I have won four championships Jordan (Schultz). You gotta understand, when I say bum, I’m not saying Dak Prescott isn’t a good NFL quarterback. Of course he is a good NFL quarterback. When it is all on the line for all the marbles… He’s a bum.”

Green’s biggest complaint with Prescott is that he hasn’t showed up in the biggest moments as one of the highest paid players in the NFL.

“He’s been a bum in the moments,” Green said. “When they had their best teams, best offensive line in the league. They had all that to get to the playoffs and he’s a bum. Now he is making $65 million and it is way harder to win. You have to be Patty Mahomes good to be that highly paid and still go out and win. It’s over.”

Green played college basketball at Michigan State, but he was also on the football team for a little while in East Lansing. He made the right decision to stick with college basketball, as he has become one of the best defensive players in the NBA in the last 20 years.

For Prescott, he is going to hear about it from more than just Green until he enjoys postseason success. That may be a hard thing for him in 2025, as the team is 3-5-1 and on the outside looking in when it comes to the playoffs.

However, there is hope for the future after Jerry Jones and the Cowboys brought in New York Jets defensive lineman Quinnen Williams in a huge trade right before Tuesday’s NFL trade deadline.

One thing is for sure, is that Green definitely earned a few more haters in the city of Dallas. He is used to being booed in opposing arenas, but he is sure to hear a few more boos in Dallas on Jan. 22, which is the next time the Warriors playing on the road against the Mavericks.
