Derrick Henry is the greatest high school football running back of all time.
His national rushing record is in danger, though.
A running back from Indiana is closing in on the all-time mark.
Myles McLaughlin, a senior at Knox High School, has four games remaining. He needs 1,121 yards to pass Henry.
Henry, who starred in Florida, ran for 12,124 yards in his high school career with 153 touchdowns.
Recently, NFL reporter Kay Adams asked Henry about the idea of his record being broken.
"He's a beast," Henry said. "Go break it, man. Records are meant to be broken."
McLaughlin saw the clip of Henry and weighed in:

It'd definitely be awesome to see McLaughlin get the mark, and Henry's support will surely only motivate him a little bit more.
