Bears vs Bengals: Winners and losers from week 9

The Chicago Bears won a 47-42 thriller on Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals in what will likely go down as one of the craziest games of the NFL season.

There was virtually no defense played at Paycor Stadium all afternoon as both teams combined for 1,071 yards of offense on a ridiculous 7.6 yards per play. The scoring started right from the opening kickoff and didn't stop until the closing seconds. The final two minutes were particularly stressful as the Bears inexplicably let a sure win slip through their fingers before Caleb Williams and Colston Loveland came through in the clutch to pull off another miracle win this season.

For the Bears, Sunday's game was a showcase for the offense as Ben Johnson coached his side of the ball to its best performance of the season. The Bears took advantage of a horrific Bengals defense to finish with 576 yards of offense, compiled 30 first downs and had a season-high in points scored. There was a near-perfect amount of balance for the offense as the unit had both the passing game and run game going with 293 passing yards, as well as 283 rushing yards. Johnson was able to get seemingly whatever he wanted from a playcalling standpoint for most of the afternoon, even mixing in a few trick plays here and there throughout the contest.

With all of the chaos and the high-scoring nature of this game, picking individuals who stood out the most was a difficult task. This is the case for both the positives and negatives. While there were a ton of great performances to choose from for the offense, there were equally as many bad performances on defense and special teams.

Ultimately, here are the names and units that stood out the most to me in this week's edition of winners and losers.
