The Pittsburgh Steelers have released edge rusher K.J. Henry from their practice squad to make room for a flurry of moves they pulled off on Tuesday.
The Steelers signed Henry on October 10 but are now moving on weeks later.
The Philadelphia Eagles released Henry in early October after signing him for a day. A 2023 fifth-round pick by the Washington Commanders, Henry has been around the NFL since being drafted into the league.
He spent just one year with the Commanders before joining the Cincinnati Bengals. Over his career, he has played with the Commanders, Eagles, Bengals, Dallas Cowboys, and Cleveland Browns, yet has been unable to find a stable spot in the NFL.
Over his career, has 22 tackles, 2.5 sacks, and two pass deflections. A native of Clemmons, North Carolina, Henry played at Clemson from 2018 to 2022.
While there, he won a National Championship with the team in 2018 while being named a second-team All-ACC selection in 2022, his final season in college.
With Henry gone, the Steelers re-signed inside linebacker Mark Robinson and brought in slot cornerback Daequan Hardy, who will replace the just-released Beanie Bishop.
