ANDONI Iraola is expecting a very tight Premier League season where every point will be crucial – so he is pleased to be on 18 points after ten games.
The boss is also satisfied with his team’s level of performance so far this term, too, and he is hopeful that they can maintain that through the campaign.
While the [Cherries](http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/cherries/clubnews/?ref=au) were beaten by Manchester City on Sunday, they have lost just twice so far this season, to City and defending champions Liverpool.
The result at the Etihad Stadium ended a run of eight games unbeaten, where Bournemouth impressed and sat second heading into the weekend.
While they are now fifth in the table, Iraola said he was pleased with the start to the campaign, although he reiterated that he is not concerned with where they are in the league at this stage.
“We've just played 10 games,” he told the Daily Echo.
“This is the table, it's not that doesn't matter, but it's going to change.
“You lose one game, you lose six positions, you win, after you recover them. 18 points is a good amount for the 10 games we've played.
“But I feel this season, the Premier League is very expensive in the sense that everything is going to be very tight.
“Every team can beat every team almost. And I think it's a matter of consistency of the performance. Sometimes you will play better, you will be more brilliant, you will get the points.
“Sometimes you will not have this or you will make mistakes that take you points. But I hope we can keep this level of performance that we've had these 10 games.”
