HELEN Bleazard was pleased to see the [Cherries](http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/cherries/clubnews/?ref=au)’ plans come to fruition as they defeated AFC Wimbledon for their 50th league win in a remarkable 57 game unbeaten run.
Bournemouth continued their streak without defeat in the league away at the Dons on Sunday, with their most recent loss in a league campaign coming back in March 2023.
It was a comfortable victory on the road, with Bleazard satisfied that their pre-match plans were implemented well.
They led 3-0 at the break thanks to goals from Molly Barron-Clark, Sophie Quirk and Kenni Thompson, before Thompson completed her brace in the second period and Emilia Newton completed the scoring.
Bleazard was impressed that her side kept the pressure on in the second half, despite their first half advantage and her team’s impressive start.

She told [afcb.co.uk](http://afcb.co.uk): “I thought we set the tone with a dominant opening first 20 minutes including some early goals.
“How they set up was how we thought and we did our homework on them. They had a few changes in personnel but, in terms of the way they played, was how we thought we could exploit. I was really pleased with the performance.
“We had a two-game week, so we needed to think about the whole squad. We always say how we will utilise the squad as a whole and I will continue to do that.
“I said at half-time we could either win the game 3-0 or we could win it by dominating the second half as well. That was mainly down to our own standards, expectations and behaviours and not to drop them.
“Just because we dominated the first half doesn’t mean we cruise through the second, I was really pleased the squad were able to put in a good performance and get more good goals.”
