Josh Giddey makes Chicago Bulls history not seen since Michael Jordan

Josh Giddey's remarkable start to the 2025-26 NBA season has continued, with the 23-year-old recording a monster triple-double on Wednesday against the Philadelphia 76ers - his second in a row.

Giddey helped the Bulls overcome 39 points by the Sixers' Tyrese Maxey, as he poured on 29 of his own to go along with a stupendous 15 rebounds and 12 assists, guiding Chicago to a two-point victory, after they once trailed by as many as 24.

In just his second season in Chicago, Giddey is now entering the record books alongside the consensus G.O.A.T., Michael Jordan, as he became the first player for the Bulls since Jordan in 1988-89 to record back-to-back triple-doubles.

They have been lead by Giddey, who has emerged as a surprise early MVP candidate, posting averages so far of 23.1 points, 10 rebounds and 9.1 assists.

Their season continues on Saturday when they face Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks in the In-Season Tournament.
