The Kerry senior footballers are scheduled to begin their National Football League Division One title defence against promoted Roscommon on Sunday, January 25, with Fitzgerald Stadium in Killarney to host the game.

The Kerry hurling team, meanwhile, will begin their Division 2 National League campaign away to Derry the previous day, January 24.

Croke Park has released the provisional National League fixtures, with the Kerry footballers to play four games at home, two in Killarney and two in Tralee. The hurlers have an even split of three home and three away in their seven-team division.

A week after the visit of Roscommon, the footballers are on the road to Donegal for a rematch of the All-Ireland SFC final on Sunday, February 1, with the venue to be confirmed.

A fortnight later Kerry will play Galway in Austin Stack Park for a game under lights on Saturday, February 14.

Dublin are next up for Kerry, with Croke Park the venue for another Saturday evening game against Ger Brennan’s Blues.

On Sunday, March 1 Kerry host Monaghan on round 5 in Killarney, and two weeks later it is another home game for the League and All-Ireland champions when they play Mayo in Tralee, another under lights game on Saturday, March 14.

Kerry round out their Division One campaign with their second trip north on Sunday, March 22 when they will play Armagh in the Athletic Grounds, a game that will see new Kerry coach Kieran Donaghy come up against the team he was a coach with for five seasons.

The National League Division One final is scheduled for the following weekend, March 28/29.

The Kerry hurlers schedule begins with that late January trip to Celtic Park to play Derry, followed by two home games against Westmeath and then London on Sundays, February 1 and 8.

After a weekend off, Kerry head to Portlaoise to play Laois on Saturday, February 21, and then after a bye weekend in round 5, they host Mayo in Tralee on Sunday, March 8 before finishing the campaign away to Meath on Saturday, March 21, with Trim the proposed venue.
