Jacob Beaumont-Clark scores once again as Everton Under-21 talent fights for new contract

Everton talent Jacob Beaumont-Clark scored his second goal in a matter of days as the Under-21s suffered defeat against Grimsby Town.

Everton fans are still frustrated with Monday’s 1-1 draw at Sunderland after squandering a first-half lead.

David Moyes must pick through that performance, but he may have had one eye on the Everton Under-21s on Tuesday night.

Everton were beaten 5-3 by Grimsby Town in the EFL Trophy, but Jacob Beaumont-Clark found the net again.

Jacob Beaumont-Clark in strong form for Everton Under-21s

Harrison Armstrong is shining for Preston North End, and Josh van Schoor has caught the eye in Everton’s Under-21 side.

Everton talents are on the rise at the moment, and Jacob Beaumont-Clark should be in that conversation as well.

The winger scored the only goal of the game in Friday’s 1-0 win over Chelsea, cutting inside to curl home the winner on his left foot.

Beaumont-Clark was at it again on Tuesday night, scoring the opener for Everton against Grimsby Town.

Two goals in a matter of days is strong form for Beaumont-Clark, who is looking to catch Moyes’ eye.

The 20-year-old went off injured against Grimsby, but he is doing all he can to shine in the Everton Under-21s.

Jacob Beaumont-Clark fighting for new Everton contract

Beaumont-Clark would love to impress Moyes and break into the Everton first-team picture before the end of the season.

That is a lofty goal, but that should be the dream of all Everton’s young players.

Beaumont-Clark has another target in mind, though, as he is also fighting for a new deal at Everton.

The Manchester-born winger is out of contract in the summer of 2026, meaning he is in the final months of his deal.

Beaumont-Clark will hope to convince Everton that he is worth another contract, and goals in the Under-21s will certainly help.

A new contract and a January loan move should not be out of the question, as Beaumont-Clark is showing promising signs this season.
